BasementArtsProject worked with the students of Leeds Metropolitan University through lecturers Simon Warren and Craig Storr on a ‘Live Project’ to transform the existing basement space into a studio and exhibition space.

Currently BasementArtsProject operates out of the basement of an early 20th Century mid-terrace house in Leeds. With this in mind the project focussed on bringing more natural light into the space to create a more welcoming and hospitable environment whilst retaining the singular atmosphere of this non-traditional gallery space.
